After an extremely hellish day at work, 6 hours of which were spent at the Del Mar Fair (kill me now!), I come home to read this:

Bones stars will be at Comic-Con next month in San Diego.

"As for specific 20th talent planning to attend Comic-Con, numerous writers and producers are expected, including:

— Kiefer Sutherland and Carlos Bernard will be on hand for “24.”

— Seth MacFarlane, Seth Green and Alec Sulkin will represent “Family Guy” and “American Dad.”

— Eliza Dushku will hype “Dollhouse,” along with Mr. Whedon.

— Most of the “Bones” cast, including stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, will attend.

— From “The Simpsons” and “Futurama,” look for Matt Groening, Al Jean, David X. Cohen, Katey Sagal and Billy West.

— Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and Sarah Wayne Callies will bang the drum for “Prison Break.”"

They are suppose to be on Friday, July 25th, with an no confirmed time atm.

No Comic-Con for me. We have to report back to work (not that I ever left) on the 25th. That said, I do believe Comic-Con with you and Roda still goes down as one of the best. days. ever.

Random question: Are you excited about Mamma Mia being released soon?

I can't wait...I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop and I know I'm probably going to have to go with my sister. You know, since my sister is the only person around here who's cool enough to appreciate musicals.

I am SO excited! Every time I see the trailers I get all giddy. We're some crazy musical-loving fools, we are. Haha, your sister rules. Especially since she willingly will geek-out with you. I want a sister.

It was, like, TV Guide or TV Weekly or something. Then I saw it on a Bones comm. I just saw 'Bones' and 'Comic Con' and my brain went into geeker-joy overdrive. I'm totally stoked now.

"recuperation" - that's great. and I'm so happy you got a four-day pass. i thought you were only going to get a saturday pass but this is wayyyyy better.

oh and I have a favour to ask. at some point, I'd really like to eat at the Bondi Bar and Grill - I think that's the name. It's an Australian place that's in downtown SD. It was featured in one of our newspapers and they have meat pies. but i want to see if it's any good. I figure I should ask you cause, well, you love food as much as me, so why not.

oh are we still working out at some point during my visit? I have been sooooo lazy lately.

Nah, it's not worth the price to just go on Saturday. It's more cost-efficient to get a 4-day, plus you don't have to wait in the blistering heat for over an hour to get your passes, you get them at the preview night. I'm all about keeping cool :) Srsly, after the 115 degree weather that one year... oy, it was awful.

We can definitely go to Bondi Bar and Grill. You know I'm down for any and all types of food. Plus, it may give me a preview for Christmas ;) lol

Definitely. I'm such a sloth lately. I haven't been to the gym in over a week. I'm feeling the fat. We're going to work out, so bring some clothes and shoes.
